CBRE is seeking a Retail Manager to help drive the day to day operations of a portfolio of quality shopping centres across Melbourne's north, on behalf of our valued client, IFM Investors. This is a role with genuine autonomy, where you'll be trusted to manage the centre floor and structure your week around what the business needs, while also building your commercial skills across leasing, reporting and retailer relationships.
This is perfect for a retail property professional who's comfortable reading a lease, understands arrears and reporting, and wants a role where their judgement and input genuinely matter.
In This Role, You Will
- Manage the daily operations of the centre, keeping presentation, safety and compliance standards high and resolving issues as they arise
- Administer retailer leases, monitor arrears and ensure compliance with lease terms
- Drive casual mall leasing and identify new income opportunities across the centre
- Manage budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting, with a focus on operational efficiency and centre performance
- Build strong relationships with retailers, contractors and the IFM Investors team
About You
- Experience in retail property, shopping centre operations or centre administration, with confidence around leases, arrears and reporting
- Strong commercial instincts and the judgement to manage day to day decisions with autonomy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure
- Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with retailers, contractors and internal teams
- Current Victorian Agent's Representative certificate, or willingness to obtain
