The mandate
Build trusted enterprise relationships and create meaningful growth opportunities across the Microsoft ecosystem.
You will own and grow a portfolio of strategic customers while developing new enterprise and mid-market opportunities across NSW or Victoria.
Working alongside Microsoft, our Growth and Partnerships team, and nexwave’s technical and delivery leaders, you will connect customer priorities with the right capability across Data & AI, Cloud & Apps, AI, Productivity and Advisory.
This is not transactional technology sales.

What you’ll own
• Building and converting a strong pipeline of enterprise and mid-market opportunities across NSW or Victoria
• Growing strategic customer relationships through clear account planning and ongoing engagement
• Developing trusted relationships with senior business, technology, data and AI leaders
• Leading opportunities from initial conversation through qualification, solution shaping, proposal, negotiation and commercial close
• Delivering agreed revenue, margin and account-growth outcomes
• Maintaining accurate pipeline, activity and forecasting information
• Ensuring a clear and professional transition from sales into delivery
What you’ll lead
New business and strategic account growth
Develop new customer opportunities while deepening relationships within priority accounts. Understand each customer’s strategy, challenges, investment priorities and operating environment, then identify where nexwave can create meaningful value.
Microsoft partnership
Build trusted relationships with Microsoft sellers, specialists and partner stakeholders. Collaborate on joint account planning, referrals, co-sell opportunities and go-to-market activity.
Consultative selling and solution shaping
Lead with the customer problem and intended business outcome, not a predetermined solution. Bring nexwave’s technical and delivery leaders into opportunities at the right time and translate complex capability into clear, commercially relevant customer stories.
Commercial performance
Take ownership of your pipeline, forecast, revenue and margin outcomes. Navigate pricing, procurement and commercial conversations with confidence, judgement and professionalism.
Market presence
Represent nexwave at customer, Microsoft and industry events. Build a strong understanding of the market and share insights that strengthen our positioning, offerings and go-to-market approach.
What we’re looking for
• Significant experience in enterprise technology, consulting or professional services sales
• A demonstrated track record of winning new business and growing strategic customer accounts
• Experience selling cloud, data, AI, applications, managed services or related consulting solutions
• Confidence engaging senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments
• An established network within the NSW or Victorian enterprise and technology market
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and forecast discipline
• The ability to understand technical subject matter and turn it into a clear and compelling customer story
• A consultative, relationship-led approach grounded in measurable customer value
Experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, either directly or through a Microsoft partner, would be highly regarded.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 or adjacent technologies would also be valuable.
