You will be responsible for:
- Advising clients on complex legal, commercial and regulatory matters.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents.
- Managing matters with appropriate partner support.
- Conducting legal research and preparing commercially focused advice.
- Building strong client relationships.
- Working collaboratively across teams and practice groups.
- Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
- Assisting with business development, client engagement and thought leadership.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years' post-admission experience, ideally from a leading law firm or in-house legal team.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Defence & Security, Energy & Natural Resources, Financial Services, Technology, Science & Industry or Employment.
- Strong drafting, advisory and analytical skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative and client-focused approach.
- Australian practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one.
