About The Role
As a result of continued growth, we are seeking a Director with risk consulting and compliance capability focused on workforce risks including:
- Risk culture
- Risk frameworks
- Obligation management
- Operating models and org design
- HR governance and risk
As a Director, you will lead high-performing teams in developing and delivering solutions for a variety of blue-chip clients across industries. You will be responsible for the successful execution of client engagements, including onboarding and building teams, defining delivery and implementation strategies, managing client relationships, ensuring profitability and budget control, and actively coaching and developing your team members to build capability and foster a high-performing culture.
You will play a pivotal role in business development and go-to-market activities to build the profile of the firm and yourself. This includes identifying and converting opportunities, designing and leading campaigns, developing tailored client plans, and driving sales to expand our footprint across existing and new clients. A strong market-facing presence and the ability to credibly represent the firm as a thought leader are essential.

About You
We are interested to hear from you if you have a number of the following;
- Tertiary qualification in org psychology, law, and/or commerce.
- You are an experienced management and/or risk consultant with circa 15 years' experience working in a well-respected consulting, legal, specialist firm or regulator.
- You have experience providing strategic advice and leadership to support remediation programmes, ideally including wage or entitlements compliance, and understand the regulatory and operational nuances involved.
- You have demonstrable experience working with legal practitioners and/or data analytics specialists to support disputes, conduct risk, or litigation support matters.
- You have a strong track record of designing and delivering risk and compliance methodologies and frameworks that allow clients to embed risk management into their day-to-day operations at scale.
- You have a strong commercial mindset and proven experience building a profitable and sustainable consulting pipeline through creating, fostering, and expanding senior client relationships.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment that requires you to be proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused, while staying grounded and humble.
- You are passionate about leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams and have a track record of coaching and developing junior team members to support their growth and the success of the practice.
- You have led multiple large-scale, multi-stream projects, and are confident operating across all aspects of the engagement lifecycle, including developing go-to-market strategies, leading proposal development, delivering workshops, overseeing deliverables, and managing commercials.
