As the business advances towards its next major phase, you will gain exposure well beyond traditional reporting, working across project finance, financial modelling, governance, funding activities, technical accounting and strategic decision-making.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and governance activities across a multinational group with operations spanning Australia and South America.

This highly visible role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and complex commercial initiatives as the organisation prepares for construction execution and future operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly consolidated management reporting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate group budgeting, forecasting and budget consolidations.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting project development, financing and strategic initiatives.
• Support lender reporting, covenant compliance and financing activities.
• Provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions and emerging accounting standards.
• Partner with finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements and systems development.
• Contribute to strategic corporate projects and executive decision-making.

About You

You are a technically strong and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in dynamic, evolving environments.

You will bring:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Approximately 8+ years' experience across Big 4, mid-tier and commercial environments.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidations and budgeting.
• Good financial modelling and Excel capabilities.
• Expertise in IFRS and technical accounting matters.
• Experience working within listed, multinational or complex group structures.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Mining industry experience will be highly regarded.
