Your New Role

The Senior Marketing Advisor is for a professional looking to make an impact in the marketing space at Development Victoria. You’ll be a part of a team of 10, whose focus is the implementation of housing campaigns.

This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term part time opportunity. You’ll work 3 days a week in a job-share capacity. The team’s anchor days in the CBD office are Tuesdays and Thursdays, to allow for a mix of team collaboration and flexibility to work from home.

Core Accountabilities

  • Deliver Development Victoria marketing initiatives that elevate our brand positioning and reputation
  • Devise and deliver end-to-end strategic marketing plans across all market channels, ensuring these support the organisational marketing and sales objectives
  • Provide input into media planning including the development of briefs, research, audience data and sector insights that help influence media recommendations
  • Continuously review multi-channel marketing campaigns and develop recommendations to drive increased awareness, traffic, engagement and lead conversion
  • Analyse and assess data to monitor performance of marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels relative to key projects
  • Contribute to the delivery of the customer experience including collateral, signage, sales office fit out, customer/sales consultant interface and site presentation
  • Drive continued improvements and look for innovative approaches in how we reach, engage, build and covert audiences, including monitoring market, competitor, industry and category trends

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

You’re someone who is hands-on, confident and can take on the entire end-to-end marketing and campaign management of designated housing developments, while also being the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll have experience in designing and implementing these campaigns and can position these with your solid customer-first writing skills. You enjoy interacting with a variety of people, ensuring clear communication and the ability to get your ideas across in a clear, concise way.

What skills do we expect you to have?

  • Bachelor equivalent or higher tertiary degree in Marketing.
  • Experience working in a marketing role (5+ years), preferably at a level that is leading the work requirements.
  • Exposure to the development, property or construction industry preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Exposure to briefing and working with advertising and media agencies.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics to inform improvements and decision making.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and respond to clients’ underlying needs.
