Data Engineers/Analysts/Scientists

The Network are seeking multiple Data specialists across (Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Scientists) to work on a Fraud and Intelligence platform within a Federal Government Department.

Locations: Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid 2-3 days office) (Must be minimum AGSVA NV1 Cleared)

Duties across the positions include

• Develop code, patterns and frameworks in a data warehouse environment predominately using SQL.
• Understand databases, data latency, data and storage formats, persistence needs, data volatility, business rules and aggregations, and other data engineering considerations.
• Undertake the back-end development of Departments Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse, including data transformation and automation of data flow jobs that produce data products.
• Build and maintain data definition descriptors & database structures, such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints.
• Quality assure the transformation and flow process and undertake data quality checks.
• Maintain reference data, and business specific datasets by automating ETL jobs.
• Undertake necessary EDW administration activities, such as deployments, production issues, capacity limits, performance tuning, logging & monitoring, scheduling of jobs, and the setup of new environments.
• Additional budget information: Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate experience in multiple roles that include Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Technical Writing, and Data Engineering.
