The Role
In this position, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support across the organisation, helping staff with day-to-day technical issues and ensuring they can work smoothly and efficiently.
You'll focus on providing Level 1 support across devices, Microsoft 365, and core systems. You’ll respond to service requests and incidents, assist with troubleshooting, and support common user issues such as access requests, device setup, and application support. You’ll also manage tickets through the service desk, making sure requests are accurately logged, updated, and resolved or escalated in a timely manner.
You’ll play an important role in onboarding and device management, helping prepare laptops and equipment for new starters, maintaining asset records, and ensuring our ICT environment stays organised and well-managed. Along the way, you’ll build familiarity with processes, systems, and security requirements while developing strong technical foundations.
With supportive and hands on management, you’ll be supported to learn, grow, and build your career in IT. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and have opportunities to develop your skills across areas like endpoint management, cloud platforms, and cyber security. If you’re someone who enjoys helping people, learning on the job, and being part of a collaborative team, this role is a great place to start and grow.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is someone looking to build a career in IT, with a genuine interest in technology and a strong desire to learn. You enjoy helping people, take pride in solving problems, and bring a positive, team-focused attitude to everything you do.
You thrive working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and you’re willing to take ownership of tasks while knowing when to ask for guidance. Whether it’s troubleshooting a user issue, setting up a new device, or learning a new system, you approach your work with curiosity, attention to detail, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Working as part of a close-knit ICT team, you’re a strong communicator who can explain technical issues in a clear and practical way. You value structure and process, keep accurate records of your work, and take accountability for delivering a reliable support experience to users.
