Amart is investing heavily in the future of its customer experience, with one of the largest digital transformation programs currently underway in Australian retail. New technology platforms, upgraded customer data capabilities, a complete website replatform and a connected online-to-store experience are all being rolled out across the business.

As Online Trading Manager, you'll sit at the centre of it.

You'll own daily online trading performance, lead a direct report, influence how customers experience the website and play a key role in shaping the future of one of Australia's most recognised retail brands.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Customer & Campaigns, you'll be responsible for the performance of the Amart website across sales, conversion, average order value and customer experience.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be analysing results, identifying opportunities, managing promotional execution, optimising product merchandising and working closely with Digital, CRM, Marketing, Buying, IT and Analytics teams.

You'll spend your time understanding what is driving performance, where customers are dropping out of the funnel, how promotions are performing and what improvements can be made to increase conversion.

Importantly, you're supported by an experienced digital leadership team, external analytics specialists and significant investment in technology, giving you the tools and support needed to make an impact.

What you'll be doing

- Owning daily, weekly and monthly online trading performance

- Managing revenue, conversion, average order value and customer experience metrics

- Analysing website and customer behaviour data to identify growth opportunities

- Leading and developing a direct report

- Managing promotional execution and onsite merchandising

- Working closely with Marketing, CRM, Buying, IT and Analytics teams

- Driving onsite optimisation, testing and conversion improvements

- Supporting the rollout of a major website replatform and digital transformation program

- Contributing ideas, insights and recommendations that improve commercial performance

What we're looking for

You might already be an Online Trading Manager looking for a larger platform.

Or you could be an eCommerce Specialist, eCommerce Executive or Digital Commerce professional ready to step into your first leadership role.

Most importantly, you'll bring:

- 4+ years' experience in eCommerce, Online Trading or Digital Commerce

- Strong commercial and analytical capability

- Experience working with website performance, conversion and sales metrics

- Confidence using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, FullStory, Optimizely or similar

- A proactive and naturally curious mindset

- Strong stakeholder management skills

- Retail, consumer or eCommerce experience
