Role

At Kaplan, we believe every student deserves an exceptional learning journey. We're looking for passionate, organised and student-focused

College Services Advisors to join our team and help create an outstanding experience for our diverse student community.

We're Currently Recruiting For Two Opportunities

  • Permanent Full-time
  • Part-time (3 days per week), 6-month contract

As one of the first people students meet, you will play a vital role in supporting them throughout their studies, from enrolment and orientation through to graduation and transition to further study. No two days are the same, as you will work across student services, administration, events, wellbeing and pastoral care to help students thrive both academically and personally.

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and making a genuine impact every day, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and provide timely advice and support to students throughout their study journey.
  • Coordinate student activities, orientation programs and events that foster engagement, connection and belonging.
  • Monitor student wellbeing, attendance and academic progress, referring students to appropriate support services where required.
  • Assist with enrolments, course changes, timetabling and student administration while maintaining accurate student records.
  • Provide pastoral care and practical support, including accommodation, under-18 student requirements and transition pathways.
  • Liaise with internal teams, university partners and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Respond to enquiries via reception, email and phone while delivering a welcoming and professional front-of-house service.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and compliant workplace by supporting continuous improvement and student success initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in student services, customer service, administration or a similar client-focused role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • A caring, empathetic and solutions-focused approach to supporting students.
  • An understanding of the Australian education sector (experience in international education will be highly regarded).
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems such as Canvas and Kaplink.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one before commencement).
