Are you a confident relationship builder who enjoys sales, travel, presentations and helping students make career-changing decisions?

Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School is looking for a Future Student Advisor to support domestic student recruitment across Sydney and New South Wales, with a focus on school engagement, lead generation and enrolment conversion for our undergraduate and postgraduate hospitality courses.

This is a sales-driven role with purpose. You will represent one of Australia’s leading hotel management schools, building relationships with schools, careers advisers, students, parents and key influencers to help future students explore pathways into hospitality, hotel management and global careers.

About the role

As Future Student Advisor – Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, you will be responsible for generating quality student leads, nurturing prospective students and supporting them from first interest through to application and enrolment.

You will be based in Sydney and will regularly travel to schools, events and the Blue Mountains campus, as well as attend activity at our Sydney campus. This role combines field-based school engagement, relationship management, student recruitment and consultative sales.

You will work closely with the Student Recruitment team to grow awareness of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, strengthen school relationships and convert opportunities into enrolment outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Represent Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School across schools, expos, events and student recruitment activities.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with careers advisers, teachers, principals, students, parents and key school contacts.

  • Visit schools across Sydney and New South Wales to promote BMIHMS courses and study pathways.

  • Travel to the Blue Mountains campus and Sydney campus as required for events, visits and student engagement.

  • Deliver engaging presentations and information sessions about hospitality, hotel management and career pathways.

  • Generate quality leads from prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • Support school leavers through TAC preference, application and offer processes where relevant.

  • Nurture prospective students through phone, email, digital engagement and face-to-face follow-up.

  • Convert student interest into applications and enrolments.

  • Manage your pipeline and maintain accurate school, lead and student records in Salesforce.

  • Contribute to monthly sales reporting and progress against recruitment targets.

  • Support Open Days, campus tours, information sessions and school-based activities.

  • Identify new opportunities to grow awareness and engagement with the Blue Mountains student cohort.

What success looks like

You will be successful in this role if you are proactive, confident and commercially focused.

You will know how to build trust with schools, create strong student interest and follow up consistently to move prospective students from enquiry to application and enrolment.

The strongest performers will be disciplined, resilient and organised. They will manage their territory, build their pipeline, understand student motivations and convert opportunities into outcomes.
