About Paediatric Cardiology
Paediatric Cardiology Services operate within both Victorian Heart Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital.
Inpatient care occurs predominantly within Monash Children’s Hospital. Outpatient consultative services are provided though both Monash Children’s Hospital and Victorian Heart Hospital.
Outpatient investigations are performed within Victorian Heart Hospital and the operational matters are managed through Victorian Heart Hospital.
About the role
The position is full time and commences February 2027 to February 2028.
The successful candidate will have a passion for paediatric cardiology with a keen interest in exploring research projects of both Victorian Heart Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital.
This position will require attendance predominantly at Monash Children’s Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital but may also include Dandenong and Casey sites.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
Outline skills / experience / attitude
Clinical skills and experience with a collaborative team work ethic.
Credibility across the paediatric specialty with previous cardiology experience desirable.
Understanding of best practice in paediatric cardiology care and a willingness to provide quality, evidence-based treatment.
Requirements of the role
Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent
All candidates will require Australian working rights
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Employee Working with Children's Check
Current Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
