Challenger Services Group is seeking an experienced

Part-Time Food Production & Sanitation Supervisor to lead hygiene operations within a large food manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring production areas meet strict food safety standards while leading a dedicated sanitation team.

Your leadership will directly support product quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Roster

  • Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Saturday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Additional shifts may be available for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Food Production & Sanitation Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating and supporting the sanitation team during scheduled cleaning operations.
  • Coordinating sanitation activities to minimise downtime while maintaining exceptional hygiene standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, Quality Assurance requirements and workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Safely preparing, using, and monitoring cleaning chemicals, including dilution and titration processes.
  • Conducting quality inspections and addressing sanitation issues before production recommences.
  • Working closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve hygiene and compliance matters.
  • Completing electronic records, compliance documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
  • Coaching team members on standard operating procedures, food safety practices and safe work methods.
  • Driving a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

About You

You'll be a practical leader who enjoys working alongside your team and takes genuine pride in delivering high standards. You’ll be someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years’ experience supervising cleaning or sanitation teams.
  • Ideally has experience within food production or high-hygiene environments.
  • Has strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP.
  • Takes a proactive approach to cleanliness with strong attention to detail.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both team members and stakeholders.
  • Is hands-on, reliable and leads by example.
