About The Opportunity
We are seeking compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our team at our Templestowe and St Albans facilities and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. In this role, you will deliver person-centred care, supporting clinical needs and collaborating with a dedicated team to uphold excellence in aged care.
The Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans for residents.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility and nutrition.
- Educate residents and their families about health management, care plans and available services.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately in accordance with facility protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, infection control standards, and aged care quality frameworks.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in resident’s health conditions, escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Stay updated with best practices in aged care nursing.
What Success Looks Like For This Role
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience in the aged care sector preferred, ideally within a residential facility.
- Ability to provide high-quality, person-centred care with compassion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with residential assessments, ACFI funding and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to compliance with aged care standards, workplace health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
- Current police clearance.
