About the Role

Kitchen Attendant | Federal Hotel | Dream big with us!

The Federal Hotel is seeking multiple reliable Kitchen Attendants to join our fast-paced kitchen team, with plenty of casual hours available. You will assist chefs with basic food prep, manage dishwashing, and maintain kitchen cleanliness during busy lunch and dinner services.

To apply, you must have excellent 7-day availability, including days, nights, weekends and public holiday also with the ability to work split shifts is essential. High-volume pub kitchen experience is a bonus, but a strong work ethic and reliable attitude are key. A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

About you

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
