Airport Services Co-ordinator

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Airport Services Coordinator to join our Airport Operations team at Launceston Airport.
This newly created role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the airport by providing administrative, rostering and operational coordination support across a dynamic and safety-critical environment. Working closely with operational leaders, you'll help ensure our teams have the right information, systems and processes in place to keep the airport operating safely, efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high-quality administrative support across Airport Operations, including meeting coordination, document management, reporting, procurement activities and compliance administration.
- Assist with staff rosters, ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, fatigue management requirements and operational needs.
- Coordinate access requests, support security administration and assist with the issuance of staff uniforms, access cards and other operational requirements.
- Provide reception and administrative relief support as required and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
- Support operational projects, document control and business improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate records and ensuring key compliance activities remain on track.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in an administration, operations support, project coordination or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination, together with strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service and operational support.
- Experience working within a regulated or compliance-focused environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
