Business Review Group

Business Review Group (BRG) is seeking an experienced Scheduler to provide specialist project scheduling support across Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) projects and programs.

The Scheduler will provide subject matter expertise in project schedule development, maintenance, analysis and reporting, supporting the delivery of Defence capability outcomes. Working closely with project managers, project controls personnel and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will contribute to the uplift of scheduling quality, governance and project performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing scheduling subject matter expertise (SME) support to Defence projects and programs.
  • Developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules in accordance with Defence project management frameworks and standards.
  • Supporting strategic scheduling initiatives and continuous improvement activities across CASG.
  • Preparing, reviewing and integrating Opportunity and Planning Products (OPP) into COBRA.
  • Monitoring schedule performance, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, and recommending corrective actions where required.
  • Supporting project controls, reporting and governance activities.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity, consistency and alignment with project objectives.
  • Providing scheduling advice and support to project teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Contributing to schedule assurance activities and the ongoing improvement of scheduling maturity across Defence programs.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated Defence scheduling experience.
  • Experience preparing and integrating OPP into COBRA.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies, project controls and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

  • Advanced COBRA expertise.
  • Experience supporting major Defence acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • Knowledge of Defence project management and capability delivery environments.
