Communications Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW

POSSE is an Australian womenswear brand known for its classic silhouettes and commitment to quality.

As the brand continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of PR, influencer and marketing operations across the business.

This role sits within the Communications team and supports the coordination of gifting, influencer partnerships, campaign preparation, PR operations and broader brand administration. Working closely across multiple departments, you will play an important role in ensuring projects, launches and communications are executed seamlessly and to a high standard.

We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and a willingness to contribute across both creative and operational areas of the business.

This position is based at our Sydney Head Office on the Northern Beaches and is a part-time role, with the flexibility to be 2 or 3 days.

YOUR ROLE IN POSSE

As Communications Assistant, you will support the execution and coordination of communications activities across PR, influencer and marketing functions.

You will assist in managing day-to-day gifting operations, sample coordination, reporting, photoshoot preparation and administrative processes that support the broader Communications & Marketing team.

A key aspect of this role will be maintaining organisation across multiple moving parts, ensuring strong attention to detail in everything you do and helping create efficient systems and workflows across the department.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment (meaning you won’t shy away from tasks in other departments), is confident managing multiple priorities simultaneously and takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.

OUTLINE OF DUTIES

PR + Influencer Coordination

• Coordinate domestic and international gifting across affiliates, influencers, VIPs and global PR agencies
• Organise product shipments, returns and tracking logistics
• Support the management of sample loans, stock movements and showroom organisation
• Maintain gifting trackers, influencer databases and contact lists
• Assist with influencer communications and inbound collaboration enquiries
• Support ShopMy and affiliate coordination
• Track press coverage and assist with reporting documentation and shared PR decks
• Assist with the preparation of monthly PR and influencer reports, insights and performance tracking
• Support the coordination of PR materials including invitations, lookbooks and gifting collateral

Marketing + Campaign Support

• Assist with photoshoot, campaign and lookbook preparation
• Assist with sourcing products and coordinating shoot logistics
• Prepare and resize imagery for web and digital platforms
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Support ad hoc marketing and campaign initiatives across the department

Administration + Operational Support

• Coordinate ordering and management of PR supplies and packaging materials
• Assist with stock reconciliation and gifting administration
• Support Indigo8 ordering and end-of-month processes
• Liaise with external suppliers and service providers where required
• Maintain organisation across office, showroom and back-of-house PR areas
• Support internal coordination across departments to ensure projects and launches run smoothly
