Expression of Interest – AI Workshop Facilitator

An exciting opportunity to be part of a growing area of innovation and help build AI capability across Gippsland.

About the role

The TAFE Gippsland Innovation team are seeking expressions of interest for a suitable AI Workshop Facilitator. In this role are responsible for delivering practical, interactive workshops designed to help small business owners understand and apply artificial intelligence tools in their day-to-day operations. Workshops will typically be 2–3 hours in duration and may be delivered during the day or in the early evening. Travel across TAFE Gippsland Campuses may apply. All workshop materials and resources will be provided.

We are looking for people who

  • can confidently facilitate engaging, practical workshops for adult learners
  • have skills, experience and knowledge using AI tools
  • are comfortable with continuous learning as technologies evolve
  • have strong communication and facilitation skills
  • are adaptable and able to tailor delivery to different learner groups
  • have a genuine interest in technology and emerging digital tools
  • are willing and able to travel between campus locations

Ideal, but not essential

  • Understanding of small business operations and challenges
  • Enthusiastic about AI and its practical use in business settings
  • Bonus: have owned or operated a small business or worked closely with industry

Mandatory requirements

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
  • Current Police Check (not older than 12 months old)
  • Current Driver’s Licence
