Foreman/Supervisor

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman/Supervisor to work out of our Townsville Depot. Candidates will have experience in the supervision of plant, labour and subcontractors for pavement works with a proven track record in the delivery of part service and subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements.

Duties

• Assistance with quotation and tender activities
• Project preparation and planning
• Management of resources and materials in consultation with the Operations Manager
• Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
• Daily and weekly reporting
• Client and stakeholder communication
• Willingness to travel and work away as required
• A demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S and environmental legislation is essential along with a genuine commitment to a safe and productive work environment.

Skills & Experience

• Min. 5 years' experience as a foreman in Civil Construction and previous experience as a an Operator is preferable
• Knowledge of plant and materials
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with standard written communication
