About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated lawyer with a strong background in employment and industrial law, and a genuine passion for workplace relations and culture.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Associate with 3+ years’ PQE who has ideally gained experience in private practice advising on employment and industrial relations matters.

Experience working with local, state and federal government clients, as well as broader public and private sector organisations, will be highly regarded.

In this role, you will work alongside leading Employment Lawyers who advise on a broad range of employment, workplace relations, discrimination and work health and safety matters. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping organisations, workplaces and people thrive.

About you

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • 3-5 years PQE, ideally having worked in private practice and having worked solidly in employment and industrial law
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow in line with business and client requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A passion for workplace law and excellent client service skills
  • Good technical skills and sound knowledge in employment and industrial law
  • Self motivation and interest in delivering client solutions
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
