As the People Excellence Partner for Australia, you are the senior in-market P&C expert within the Multi-Country Organization (MCO) covering South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. You translate global and regional P&C strategy into local impact, coach leaders, steward complex employee relations, and champion adoption of the new P&C operating model in Australia. This is a role for an experienced HR professional who can operate at altitude with senior leaders while retaining deep command of the Australian employment framework.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic partnership & operating model leadership

  • Deploy the One P&C agenda and lead P&C culture change in Australia, ensuring global priorities land with local relevance.
  • Champion adoption of the tiered P&C service model: coach employees and managers toward self-service and People Services channels, and reserve Partner capacity for complex, high-judgment work.
  • Represent the Australian market view into MCO and regional P&C forums; provide structured input on local trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and improvement input to People Services management to continuously lift service experience, quality and efficiency for Australian employees.
  • Champion a "learn, share & re-apply" culture across Sanofi by collaborating with People Business Partners, CoEs and People Services across geographies.

Leadership coaching & organizational effectiveness

  • Coach senior leaders and people managers on leadership effectiveness, team health, organizational design and change management.
  • Act as trusted advisor on escalations concerning key and leadership roles in Australia, including sensitive performance, conduct and restructuring matters.
  • Support workforce planning and personnel cost/budget management for Australia in partnership with Finance and the People Director.

Employee relations & compliance

  • Own complex employee relations matters end-to-end, ensuring outcomes that are commercially sound, legally compliant and consistent with Sanofi values.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving Australian employment legislation — including Fair Work obligations, modern awards and enterprise agreements, WHS psychosocial safety duties and Right to Disconnect — translating regulatory change into practical guidance for leaders.
