We are seeking a high-caliber Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of our technology services and infrastructure.

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will ensure our projects, services, and products are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining top-tier quality and scalability

This role is perfect for a professional that possess a balanced mix of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and interpersonal intelligence.

Essential technical skills include proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow for planning, tracking, and reporting. Understanding Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) is vital, especially in software and product delivery roles.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus, and for those managing IT services, ITIL principles are invaluable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing visibility of the portfolio delivery plan, monitoring and reporting on delivery progress, milestones, and risks, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including data centres, networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Coordinating across engineering teams, compliance and risk stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration between development and production environments.
  • Playing an active role in quarterly planning cycles across Technology, including preparing quarterly inputs and supporting intra-quarter delivery activities.
  • Being accountable for the quality of service delivery and customer expectation fulfilment, focusing on internal and external processes and how the service can be enhanced, and providing management with regular and accurate updates on service performance.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual interventions in production systems and infrastructure management.
  • Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles and reduce errors.
  • Continuously evaluate infrastructure tools and technologies to ensure they meet the needs of the business.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or Business with strong technical acumen or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant certifications like PMP, CSM, or SAFe highly valued.
  • Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), a framework for delivering best-practice IT services that helps strengthen customer relationships, reduce risk, and build responsive and scalable IT systems
  • 10+ years of developing high transaction backend systems in Java that are highly performant and scalable while being cost efficient and secure
  • 5+ years working with Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • 2+ years building CD/CI pipelines
  • Deep knowledge of multi-threading, data structures and algorithms
  • Deep technical knowledge of database systems both Relational and NoSQL with ability to write performant SQL queries
  • Experience with Linux, bash scripting and running software in Docker/Kubernetes
  • Have managed multiple teams concurrently, from requirements to production, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with Feature Flag development, A/B Testing and Canary Releases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including non-technical audiences.

This role is based in Sydney, Australia. Candidates must be in and authorised to work in Australia.
