Test Engineer (SDET) – C#/.NET

Location : Sydney, Australia

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using C# and .NET.
Develop automated tests for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.
Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and test data management.
Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
Improve automation coverage, framework reliability, and test execution efficiency.
Support Agile development practices and continuous testing initiatives.

Strong programming experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and API automation tools.
Good SQL skills for database validation and testing.
Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
Understanding of software design principles, OOP, and Agile methodologies.

4+ years of experience in Automation Testing / Quality Engineering.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
