We are looking for an execution-minded Business Analyst for a focused, short-term contract. Your core objective is to stand up and facilitate a high-value fortnightly delivery rhythm, driving the AI & Efficiencies squad to mature, own, and sustain their agile delivery framework.

This role is about building capability, not dependency. Success means that by the time your contract concludes, the technical team completely owns a self-sustaining cadence, backed by clear documentation and coaching you leave behind.

Key Accountabilities & Ownership

• Sprint Cadence: Stand up and facilitate the fortnightly sprint cycle. Keep the delivery rhythm lightweight, high-value, and focused ensuring it serves the team's output, not ritual for its own sake.
• Backlog & Flow: Partner with the Head of AI & Efficiencies, and the Business Analyst to keep the backlog refined, prioritised, and highly visible. Proactively surface and smash through blockers to keep work moving.
• Requirements & Specification: Sit between the build team and business stakeholders. Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, sprint-ready work with airtight acceptance criteria the team can act on instantly.
• Embed & Handover: Document the established way of working, coach the team into owning the delivery rhythm, and execute a flawless handover so the cadence runs seamlessly without you.

What You Bring to the Role You are an execution-minded Business Analyst or Delivery Lead who excels at stepping into a fast-paced environment, establishing structure quickly, and keeping a technical team highly focused.

• Cadence & Delivery Ownership: Proven experience running end-to-end sprint or agile delivery cadences (planning, refinement, stand-ups, retro) for a software or automation team.
• Expert Facilitation: You run tight, inclusive workshops and meetings. You know how to drive clear decisions, assign ownership, and ensure everyone leaves knowing what they are doing and why.
• Sharp Technical BA Skills: You can take a vague stakeholder pain point and transform it into perfectly structured, sprint-ready tasks with concrete acceptance criteria and process notation.
• AI-First Awareness: A solid working understanding of what AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and automation platforms can and cannot do. You know enough to help the team size and sequence work sensibly.
• Coaching & Documentation: A natural ability to mentor teams into strong operational habits, leaving behind clean documentation of the team's new way of working.
