Hiring for Test Project Manager, Sydney
Job Title : Test Project Manager
Location : Sydney
Mode: Contract (1-year)
Scope of activities includes
- Work with existing Test Strategy/Plan revising as needed.
- Coordination of network-side testing validation with engineers (e.g., SDWAN segmentation, VRF policies, ISE integration)
- Management of agency UAT coordination across each site, including scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and issue tracking
- Oversight of test execution during each wave, including weekend cutovers where applicable
- Consolidation of test outcomes, defect tracking, and reporting into the project governance structure
- Given the number of sites per wave and cross-agency impacts (particularly for multi-agency sites such as McKell and Parramatta), this level of effort is considered the minimum required to maintain delivery confidence and avoid unmanaged testing gaps.
A competent Tester Manager/Lead with
- Excellent communication
- More than 5 years’ experience
- Proactive, self-starter capabilities – ability to manage their work within the allotted time.
- Ability to report regular test status, and represent testing progress at stand-ups
- Competent to raise issues and escalate, including management of personal workload
- Ability to plan ensure adequate coverage of the acceptance criteria.
- Ability to work with end-users, business users undertaking the tests.
What’s skills, competencies needed:
- Excellent communication
- Stakeholder management, ability to work with technical teams
- Strong coordination, planning and test scheduling skills
- Ability to managing metrics for reporting and strong written reporting skills
- MS products such as Excel, MS Teams.
- Testing knowledge.
- ISTQB certification or similar.
