The Workforce Planner is responsible for coordinating comprehensive

travel, accommodation, and logistical support for project personnel, ensuring seamless deployment and success for the Eva Copper Hybrid Power Supply project.

Working collaboratively with the Senior Scheduler, Construction Manager, and other project stakeholders, this role manages the end-to-end arrangements for project personnel, including flight and accommodation bookings, ground transportation, and necessary travel documentation. The Workforce Planner will liaise directly with the project team and client to understand requirements, address changes, and proactively resolve logistical challenges, playing a critical role in facilitating the smooth and efficient execution of the Eva Copper Hybrid Power Supply project.

Location: This role typically operates within a project office environment on and off site, which could be in remote locations.

What you’ll do as [role]

  • Coordinate directly with clients to finalise logistical details, access requirements, and on-site support for deployed personnel.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed travel itineraries, accommodation confirmations, and relevant travel documentation to project personnel.
  • Proactively monitor and manage changes to travel plans, respond to urgent requests, and resolve unexpected logistical issues with minimal disruption to projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of all travel and accommodation bookings, costs, and personnel deployment schedules.
  • Liaise with the Senior Scheduler and Construction Manager, and other project stakeholders to ensure optimal planning and resource allocation for personnel movements.

You are

  • Proven experience in travel coordination, logistics, or a similar administrative role, ideally within a project-based environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail to manage complex travel arrangements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders including clients, project personnel, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and urgent requests.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate and mitigate logistical challenges.
