Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

The Opportunity

CSL Behring is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Engineer to join our Broadmeadows manufacturing site. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager E&I, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for delivering safe, reliable and compliant maintenance across critical pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This is an opportunity to work in a highly automated, technically diverse environment supporting the manufacture of life-saving medicines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of E&I technicians to safely deliver planned, reactive and shutdown maintenance across the Broadmeadows manufacturing site.
• Manage maintenance and GMP calibration activities to achieve safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.
• Plan and prepare maintenance work, including job packs, isolations and P&ID-based work instructions.
• Provide technical leadership through complex fault finding, problem solving and escalation support.
• Coordinate daily work priorities and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Automation and Quality to deliver reliable plant performance.
• Conduct RCAs and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, compliance and maintenance efficiency.

Your Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineering, with Electrical and/or Instrumentation trade qualifications considered advantageous.
• Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and process control systems, including calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity and analytical instrumentation.
• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities using SAP Plant Maintenance or a similar CMMS.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or industrial environment such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, food & beverage, chemical, mining or oil & gas. Working knowledge of GMP and FDA requirements is advantageous.
