Job Overview
Key Accountabilities
- Lead Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP);
- Support the Group in the overall management of the procurement portfolio;
- Analyse vendor pricing, cost structures and market trends;
- Help to identify procurement opportunities, risks and process improvements across the business;
- Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with suppliers;
- Find and manage vendors to assist the maintenance and performance of the business;
- Ensure goods and services are sourced using correct protocols and procedures that ensure a transparent and ethical process has been undertaken;
- Assess the ethical implications of business activities and seek legal advice as appropriate.
- Understand and manage risk;
- Complete regular invoice checks, reconciliations, and reports;
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop an understanding of business requirements and establish and maintain effective relationships with these customers;
- Train internal stakeholders on the Procure to Pay Process;
- Maintain monthly/weekly reporting requirements and liaise with internal stakeholders to better the current status;
- Vendor data maintenance;
- Guarantee 100% commitment to protecting sensitive information and comply with all company policies, procedures and practices relating to the provision of goods and services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree level qualified – required
- Master Degree level qualified – preferred
Minimum Experience
- 5 years experience – preferred
