In the role of a Senior Analyst – ESG & Sustainability, you will join the B&PB ESG & Sustainability Team in Melbourne that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
We’re looking for an experienced Sustainability professional who’s passionate about creating meaningful change. In this role, you’ll generate insights through analysis, support delivery of key sustainability initiatives, and help embed ESG considerations into business operations, decision-making, and performance. You’ll work across data, strategy and delivery to support B&PB’s Net Zero ambition and broader sustainability priorities.

In this role, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Analyse ESG, climate, and portfolio data to synthesise complex information into clear insights and strategic recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Program manage B&PBs portfolio of Sustainability and ESG Risk Management initiatives, including development of datasets, models, dashboards and reporting/presentations.
- Translate complex data and technical information into clear, structured outputs and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Prepare high quality written materials, analysis and presentations for senior leaders, forums and decision-making committees.
- Lead and support delivery of strategic initiatives across Sustainability, Net Zero and broader ESG priorities.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Experience in ESG, sustainability, data analytics or a related field within financial services, consulting or a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical capability & problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex datasets and deriving meaningful insights to support business outcomes.
- Proven program management capability, with experience coordinating multiple initiatives, managing dependencies, tracking delivery milestones and driving outcomes through cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking, articulating how ESG and sustainability initiatives support customer and business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence influencing and explaining ESG concepts & practical insights to non-experts.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environment, Sustainability, Business, Finance, Law, Science or a related discipline (data analytics or sustainability related specialisation highly regarded).
