The Opportunity

As a System Maintainer – Electrical, you will play a key role in maintaining plant and equipment to ensure reliability, efficiency and safe operations across the terminal.

Working within a skilled maintenance team, you will deliver both preventative and corrective maintenance, contribute to continuous improvement, and support the performance of critical infrastructure in a dynamic, high-volume industrial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver electrical maintenance activities in line with operating standards and maintenance plans
  • Contribute to plant reliability through problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support work planning, scheduling, isolations and contractor management activities
  • Identify and implement improvements across maintenance practices and procedures
  • Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to minimise disruption to operations
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety, environmental and quality standards

What You’ll Bring

You’re a safety-focused electrical tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and contributing to team success.

  • QLD Electrical Fitter / Mechanic Licence (mandatory)
  • Experience in heavy industry, bulk handling or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of safety processes and procedures
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to coordinate contractors and manage work effectively
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • A proactive approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
