Our New ROADS program supports people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to secure and sustain safe housing. As our Program Administration Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping our service running smoothly, enabling frontline teams to focus on delivering life-changing outcomes.

About the Role

This is far more than a traditional administration position. You'll be the operational backbone of the New ROADS program, coordinating administrative systems, managing critical data, supporting strategic projects, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across the service.

Working closely with the Service Manager and leadership team, you'll help improve processes, coordinate projects from implementation through to business-as-usual operations and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including housing providers, landlords and contractors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and continually improve administrative systems and operational processes.
  • Coordinate program data, reporting and governance documentation.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, meeting papers and briefing documents.
  • Maintain registers for properties, leases, contracts, fleet, service agreements and compliance activities.
  • Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to administrative staff within New ROADS.
  • Build productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure records are accurate, compliant and maintained to organisational standards.

About You

You're an organised, proactive professional who enjoys improving systems and helping teams succeed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and can confidently juggle competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You'll also bring:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a senior administration, program coordination or executive support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with data.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach.
  • The ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a commitment to culturally safe practice.

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Diploma in Business (or equivalent) and relevant experience, or
  • Extensive relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
