THE ROLE
Do you love working with kids and know how to bring the energy? YMCA South Australia is looking for Birthday Party Hosts to join our team at our Gymnastics Centres and help create memorable experiences for children and families:
- Glengowrie Gymnastics Centre
- Seaford Gymnastics Centre
- O'Sullivan Beach Gymnastics Centre
In this role, you will plan and run a range of birthday party programs in relation to gymnastics. You will lead structured games and activities, make sure every child has a safe, fun time from start to finish, and work alongside a supportive team to maintain a welcoming environment for families.
Pay rate is $34.96 per hour (junior rates may apply).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Host our birthday party programs, leading structured games and activities for children of all ages and abilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout each party
- Set up and pack down party areas before and after each session
- Complete daily checklists and incident reports in line with YMCA SA policies
- Communicate professionally with families, responding promptly to needs and concerns
- Uphold YMCA SA's safeguarding standards and act in the best interests of children at all times
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- HLTAID009 Provide CPR
- Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” Training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
