We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Brewer to join our production team in Totness, South Australia. Working closely with our Head of Brewery Operations, you'll play a key role in producing the beers that have made Prancing Pony one of Australia's most respected independent breweries.

The Role

This is a hands-on brewing position with responsibility across the entire brewing process, from raw materials through to packaging.

Working on our state-of-the-art 32hL German Braukon brewhouse, your duties will include:

  • Brewing and wort production
  • Yeast management and fermentation monitoring
  • Cellar operations including transfers, dry hopping, fining and carbonation
  • Packaging operations including kegging and canning
  • Cleaning, sanitation and brewery hygiene
  • Quality control and production record keeping
  • Inventory management, ordering and stock control
  • Coordination of spent grain collection
  • Occasional brewery tours and visitor engagement
  • Participation in industry events, festivals and promotional activities

About You

You are passionate about brewing, committed to quality, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial brewing operation
  • Formal brewing qualifications at Certificate level or equivalent
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining accurate production records
  • Sound computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Experience with Beer30, Fishbowl or similar MRP systems (desirable)
  • Current RSA certification
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current Forklift Licence
