Production Worker

What Is The Role?

We are currently recruiting for production workers for our Ozpack team at Scoresby. We have positions available for experienced workers on day or night shift.

The primary responsibility of the role is to efficiently operate equipment in various areas of production floor, manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Specific Role Requirements

• Able to perform key tasks in operating machinery (set up, operate, fault find and shut down).
• Responsible for quality of own work.
• May be required to record detailed information and recommend improvements to production and or quality.
• Undertaking duties consistent with quality/hygiene standards.
• Assists with on the job ("buddy ") training.

Skills/Competencies Required

As the preferred candidate,

• you enjoy working as part of a team and meeting production requirements.
• you have a Quality and Safety mindset and enjoy supporting other team members with buddy training to ensure they are performing tasks correctly.
• you have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy.
• you have a continuous learning mindset and ability to work as part of a team
• you have basic computer and data entry skills.
• you have effective problem solving, high attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documents for internal compliance.

Positions

• Positions are available across afternoon and nightshift.

• Day shift available from 6:00am-2.06pm
• Night shifts available from 10.00pm – 6.06am
• Shift loading apply to night shift.
• Overtime available as required or in peak demand periods
• Positions are available for immediate start
