The Role

We’re seeking a highly capable and people-focused

Security Services Manager to lead and develop security operations across the Crown complex.

Reporting to the Senior Security Operations Manager, this role is responsible for delivering a safe, secure and engaging environment while ensuring exceptional service standards for guests and employees alike. You’ll play a critical leadership role, influencing outcomes across the business and contributing to broader operational strategies.

You’re a visible, hands-on leader who thrives in a complex environment, balancing risk management, people leadership and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage security operations teams, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused culture

  • Deliver safe, secure and seamless experiences across the entire Crown complex

  • Act as a key decision-maker during shifts, including overseeing operations in the absence of senior leadership

  • Lead incident, risk and emergency management responses, including acting as Chief Warden when required

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and security providers

  • Drive operational efficiency through resource planning, workforce optimisation and cost management

  • Champion compliance with all regulatory, legislative and organisational requirements

  • Coach, develop and support team members through performance management, succession planning and engagement initiatives

About You

You’re an experienced leader with a strong operational mindset and a passion for safety, service and people development. You bring a balanced approach to leadership – combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You will also bring

  • Proven experience in security operations management

  • Ability to work FT across a 24/7 Rotation – 12 hour shifts at a time

  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing large, diverse teams

  • Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure

  • Experience in incident management, risk mitigation and emergency response

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Commercial awareness and a focus on continuous improvement
