About The Role
Grampians Health Oral Health is seeking experienced clinicians to join our team as Casual Dental Teacher within our dedicated teaching clinics. This is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future oral health workforce while supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical learning environment. Working alongside our clinical education team, you will supervise and mentor 4th and 5th Year LaTrobe University dental students, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required for professional practice.
You will provide clinical teaching and supervision across all aspects of general dentistry, with opportunities to support more advanced procedures including endodontics, crowns and oral surgery. The role combines clinical expertise with education, ensuring students deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred care while meeting Grampians Health's clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical teaching and student supervision
- Support student learning and professional development
- Provide advanced clinical care where required
- Assess student competency and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Comply with clinical, safety and governance standards
Skills & Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
- Minimum 3 years full-time Australian clinical practice
- Strong general dentistry clinical skills
- Experience in endodontics, crowns and oral surgery
- Working With Children Check and Police Check
