What You’ll Do
- As a Sales Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of SEs operating as the face of the CrowdStrike Platform’s Next-Gen SIEM, LogScale, Fusion SOAR, Onum, and Charlotte AI. Working alongside our sales team, you'll take ownership of the technical relationship through the sales cycle.
- You'll also maintain that relationship with the customer as they discover what the CrowdStrike Platform can do for them, expand their use across our product portfolio, and provide feedback to our Product Management team.
- You'll become a trusted advisor by providing technical value in your interactions with prospective customers, answering technical questions, demonstrating capabilities across our product suite, and laying out a comprehensive technical vision that addresses their logging, SIEM, SOAR, data pipeline, and AI-assisted security operations needs.
- You'll be working closely with the teams in sales, leadership, marketing, support, customer success, and engineering. In particular, you'll be a critical part of the sales team; providing feedback on deal progress, uncovering the wants and needs of prospects, and translating that to tangible value from the CrowdStrike Platform, ultimately bringing more customers to CrowdStrike.
- In addition to guiding prospective customers through their discovery of the CrowdStrike Platform, you'll play an integral part in defining and executing on our go-to-market strategy — exploring new use cases, integrations, partnerships, and cross-product synergies. Your success in this role will have a significant impact on the expansion of the CrowdStrike Platform worldwide.
- Ensure effective technical field sales coverage for assigned sales theater account base.
- Coach, mentor and develop Sales Engineers' skill-set to meet current and emerging sales opportunity needs.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years experience with log management, SIEM, and XDR technologies. This includes everything from data ingestion, to parsing, to manipulation and visualization of data, to proving out security use cases.
- Experience with SOAR platforms and incident response workflows, including building and demonstrating automated detection-to-response use cases in a SOC environment.
- Familiarity with Agentic SOC concepts and AI-driven security operations, including autonomous alert triage, AI-assisted investigation, and the ability to articulate how agentic workflows reduce analyst toil and accelerate mean time to respond.
- Understanding of data pipeline architectures and data engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with AI-powered security tools and generative AI applications in security operations.
Technical Skills (Advantageous)
- Experience with data ingestion formats and protocols
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Cloud concepts and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Orchestration and automation tools
- Distributed data stores and data shipping services
- API integration and webhook configurations
- Understanding of playbook development and workflow automation
- Experience with AI copilots and natural language query interfaces
Leadership & Management
- 2+ years or equivalent experience in direct management or leadership of a technical team (experience managing remote employees highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop SE talent across a range of technical disciplines and seniority levels.
- Track record of translating field feedback into product and go-to-market insights.
