This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).
What You'll Do
- Lead development and enhancement of home insurance pricing models, improving accuracy using actuarial techniques and modern analytical approaches
- Manage and mentor a team of pricing specialists, supporting delivery across modelling, analysis and strategic pricing initiatives
- Partner with Group Natural Perils to improve hazard pricing sophistication and strengthen risk modelling outcomes
- Drive end to end pricing projects, from problem definition through to implementation, ensuring outcomes are measurable and impactful
- Design and test new methodologies and approaches to strengthen pricing capability, efficiency and innovation
- Collaborate across portfolio, product, finance and risk teams to align pricing strategies with broader business goals
- Provide thought leadership and share knowledge across pricing teams to uplift capability and embed best practice approaches
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in general insurance pricing, with strong understanding of technical modelling and pricing strategy
- Proven leadership capability, with ability to guide, mentor and develop high performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with experience using actuarial or machine learning techniques
- Ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, practical insights and decisions
- Experience working across the pricing value chain, collaborating with portfolio, product and finance teams
- Curiosity and drive to improve pricing approaches, with an interest in innovation and continuous improvement
