We have an opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team and support the Western Renewables Link (WRL) project.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Contract Management team, focusing on managing, analysing and reporting across the project’s contract portfolio. You’ll play a key role in optimising payment claims, supporting cost stewardship, and improving the administration of project contracts and downstream commercial activities.

What you’ll be doing in this role

  • Own a portfolio of project contracts across development, execution and payment claims
  • Coordinate purchase orders and resolve invoicing queries with project teams
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive strong commercial outcomes, controls and governance
  • Analyse contract spend against milestones to identify efficiencies and cost savings
  • Negotiate commercial terms across new and existing engagements, including disputes
  • Manage contract libraries (contracts, NDAs) for clear, accessible information
  • Review and validate monthly payment claims, including sub-consultants and AGJV
  • Support sponsorship and grant agreement setup
  • Build strong relationships to enable effective commercial partnerships
  • Apply safety, cyber and compliance standards across all activities
  • Stay across legislation, policies and standards to ensure compliance
  • Share insights, lessons learned and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to safety targets and mission Zero initiatives

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years post graduate commercial and/or project administration experience in infrastructure asset development and/or delivery
  • Analytical skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of key contract terms and conditions
  • Understanding of legislation and ability to provide advice on commercial commitments.
  • Demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
  • Leadership maturity to be able to interact with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the procure to pay process and the key interfaces with various stakeholders throughout the process.
