Role Overview
A highly regarded firm has partnered with Elevate and is seeking a Disputes and Litigation lawyer in Australia to contribute to the ambitious growth strategy. This is a rare opportunity to lead complex litigation matters focused on debt and asset recovery, while acting as a trusted advisor to key clients. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a friendly, supportive team culture and hybrid work arrangements, including non-billable hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee debt, asset recovery, and civil litigation matters, including contract breaches and insolvency cases
- Act as primary client account manager, building senior stakeholder relationships and driving client growth
- Lead and mentor a small legal team, ensuring high-quality delivery and consistent development
- Collaborate with leadership to grow the Disputes & Litigation practice and support business development initiatives
- Drive operational efficiency by managing large matter portfolios, using data insights, and improving processes
- Deliver exceptional client experience while leveraging technology and working cross-functionally to achieve team goals
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years PQE in civil litigation with strong expertise in debt recovery, asset recovery, and insolvency matters
- Proven experience handling complex litigation across State and Federal Courts, including enforcement actions
- Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and supervise junior lawyers in a collaborative team environment
- Proficient in operating within a technology-driven legal environment
