Senior Developer - Site Reliability

At TechnologyOne, we build software that helps thousands of organisations run better. As our SaaS platform continues to evolve, we're looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our Brisbane team and play a key role in the future of our cloud platform.

This is a hands on engineering role focused on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure and automation. You'll help modernise our platform, improve how we deploy and operate our services, and build reliable, scalable infrastructure that supports millions of users.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll solve complex infrastructure challenges, drive platform improvements, and help shape the engineering practices that keep our SaaS platform secure, resilient and high performing.

What you'll be doing

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and Helm
• Design, implement and enhance our Kubernetes platform
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve reliability and efficiency
• Improve platform security, resilience and observability using modern cloud native tools
• Support Kubernetes cluster operations, upgrades and ongoing platform maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery pipelines
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical best practices across the team

What you'll bring

• Strong experience working with AWS, with Azure experience considered a bonus
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm and CloudFormation
• Around five or more years' experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or similar
• Experience building and supporting large scale cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automation best practices
• Strong problem solving skills and a collaborative approach to engineering
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is desirable
