About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Technical Analyst to join a large-scale

Cyber Security Program delivering critical uplift initiatives across a complex, federated ICT environment. This program is driving key improvements aligned to a strategic Cyber Security Roadmap—modernising legacy platforms, strengthening security posture, and enhancing enterprise-wide capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping current and future state solutions, ensuring technical and business requirements are clearly defined and delivered through integrated, scalable security solutions.

Contract Details

  • Inital contract till 23/12/26
  • $977.76 inc. super per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical analysis activities across cyber security initiatives
  • Identify, analyse and document system and application requirements
  • Translate complex requirements into clear specifications, system designs and supporting documentation
  • Map end-to-end integration workflows, including:
    • Data flows
    • System dependencies
    • Field-level mappings and transformation rules
  • Develop options analysis papers and Proof of Concept (PoC) documentation
  • Collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including SMEs and governance groups
  • Support solution design, delivery planning and release management across multiple projects
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and project resources
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge artefacts are maintained as critical IP

About You

You are a proactive and analytical professional with a strong background in technical analysis within cyber security or complex ICT environments. You thrive in multi-project settings and are confident engaging diverse stakeholder groups.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in technical business/functional analysis and problem solving
  • Strong ability to document system integrations, interfaces and interconnectivity
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and time-critical deliverables
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively

Highly Regarded Experience

  • Hands-on exposure to cyber security technologies such as:
    • Check Point & Palo Alto firewalls
    • F5 GTM / LTM
    • Monitoring, automation, and management tools
  • Experience producing technical documentation, PoCs, and options analysis in large environments
  • Knowledge across key domains:
    • Network & perimeter security
    • Hybrid and cloud security (Azure IaaS / PaaS, SaaS, secure web gateway)
  • Strong understanding of network topologies and architecture design artefacts
  • Experience delivering within large-scale transformation or cyber security programs
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (CMDB, forms taxonomy, configuration items)
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Visio, or Mind Mapping tools

Desirable

  • Exposure to healthcare, clinical systems, or digital health environments (not essential)

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
