Insights Analyst

We're looking for an Insights Analyst to join our growing Data & Insights team and help transform data into meaningful business decisions.

In this newly created role, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to uncover insights, identify trends and opportunities, and build reporting solutions that drive strategic, operational and commercial outcomes. You'll work closely with both business and technology teams, helping translate complex business questions into data-driven solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities that support better business decisions
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions
• Design and build insightful, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of semantic data models and reporting standards
• Develop wireframes and reporting requirements to ensure dashboards meet business needs
• Test, validate and document reporting solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Support the adoption of new dashboards and reporting tools through training and user enablement
• Continuously improve reporting processes by simplifying and automating manual activities where possible
• Assist with the transition to Microsoft Fabric and the evolution of our enterprise reporting environment
• Work collaboratively with IT and data teams to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, governed and aligned to business priorities

About You

You'll be naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about using data to solve business problems. You enjoy working with people, asking questions and turning complex information into clear, actionable insights.

You'll also bring

• 4-5 years' experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Insights roles
• Experience working with operational, commercial or finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Demonstrated ability to build reporting solutions that deliver real business value
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a story through data
• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
• A genuine interest in emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics

Technical Skills

Experience with some or all of the following is highly regarded:

• Power BI, including report development and DAX fundamentals
• SQL and data querying
• Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platforms
• Enterprise reporting tools such as Tableau or SAP BusinessObjects
• Excel for analysis and executive reporting
• Semantic modelling and data governance concepts
• Jira and structured project delivery methodologies
