About the Role
Step into a high-impact Financial Accountant role where your work directly supports critical business decisions and reporting at the highest level. You’ll deliver key insights through monthly reporting, consolidated financial statements, and cashflow analysis while contributing to tax compliance and audit processes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly reports.
- Support annual reporting packs and audit queries.
- Assist with tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and FBT returns.
- Develop Excel templates and reports for financial analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
- Provide support across Corporate Finance as required.
About You
You’re a qualified and commercially minded finance professional who brings strong technical expertise, analytical capability, and a proactive approach to delivering high quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Ideally you will have:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification.
- 7+ years’ experience in statutory reporting, audit, and corporate financial reporting, ideally in asset intensive industries.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse complex data and generate insights.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives, with experience using ERP systems, TM1 Cognos, and/or Power BI advantageous.
- Proactive, analytical self-starter with a strong focus on continuous improvement, including leveraging new technologies and AI.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
