We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth across an existing client portfolio while identifying and converting new opportunities.

This hybrid, client-facing role is perfect for someone who is comfortable operating across both account management and new business within an established customer base. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, and work closely with our expert pre-sales technical and delivery teams to position and deliver gold-standard solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Retention: Build and grow deep relationships across assigned accounts, engaging stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment, demand, and revenue growth.
  • Sales Execution: Own the end-to-end sales cycle from discovery and qualification through to deal closure, preparing high-quality proposals and commercial pricing responses.
  • Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify new opportunities to introduce advanced Cisco technologies and our managed services portfolio across your client base.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with pre-sales technical specialists and delivery teams to shape, position, and smoothly transition solutions from sale to implementation.
  • Pipeline Discipline: Manage your pipeline, deal progression, and forecasting with high discipline and accuracy using our CRM platform (ConnectWise).
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Actively liaise with vendors, distributors, and partners to support deal progression and solution design.

Essential

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven Track Record: 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within a B2B technology environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience working with customers across collaboration, contact center, networking, or security solutions.
  • Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated ownership over sales targets, KPIs, forecasting, and revenue outcomes.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience utilizing CRM platforms (ConnectWise or similar) for pipeline hygiene.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Mobility: Flexibility to travel approximately 15–20% for customer engagement and industry events.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Cisco technologies including Webex, Meraki, or Cisco Security.
  • Experience working within an IT partner, reseller, or distributor environment.
  • An understanding of unified communications or contact center architectures.
  • A relevant degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

A Typical Day in This Role

  • Morning: Review your pipeline, prioritize key accounts, and align with internal teams on next steps.
  • Mid-morning: Engage directly with customers through calls or face-to-face meetings to uncover business priorities and progress opportunities.
  • Afternoon: Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and proposal generation, ensuring CRM activity and forecasts are completely accurate.
  • Ongoing: Maintain deal momentum through proactive follow-ups, internal coordination, and high-standard customer care.
