About The Project

Join the John Holland IT team supporting the Melbourne Metro Tunnel and Stations project as part of our 25-year Cross Yarra Partnership Asset Management Services (CYP AMS) maintenance contract.

This complex underground rail network connects Melbourne’s CBD through five new stations and is now a critical, fully operational part of the city’s transport system.

As part of the CYP AMS team, you will play a key role in providing ongoing support and continuous improvement of systems and technology that support the maintenance of this vital urban lifeline.

Are you up for the challenge?

We are looking for a knowledgeable IT professional with experience in IT systems support and exposure to Asset Management systems to join the team in the role of Systems & Technology Analyst.

In this role you will provide ongoing support of CYP systems and technology projects and engage with relevant CYP AMS business streams, the JHG IT team, external suppliers, and contractors to develop and coordinate IT solutions.

This position is based at the project office at Town Hall Station in Melbourne CBD.

About The Role

  • Act as system administrator for the CMMS and other maintenance technology applications
  • Coordinate the ongoing maintenance of IT systems and operational technology including Building Management System (BMS), SCADA and CMMS.
  • Coordinate the delivery of fit for purpose technology solutions and enhancements into the business.
  • The effective management and triage of IT and OT issues and requests on behalf of CYP AMS
  • Coordinate the ongoing security of information & technology systems into the business including local area networks and other operational technology
  • Support the continued development and compliance to relevant documentation such as the:
    • Information Management Plan
    • Cybersecurity Management Plan
    • Digital Engineering Management Plan
    • GIS Management Plan
    • CAD Management Plan
  • Establish and embed policies, systems and processes to support effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering for CMMS and maintenance applications in collaboration with Asset Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
  • Identify and prioritise initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities in the IT tools with the business and IT teams
  • Ensure alignment of maintenance systems with project, organisational, and client technology requirements
  • Coordinate the import and export of data into systems and develop tools to assist processes inc. data migration, import, and validation exercises.
  • Act as the interface for client governance forums and technology change processes
  • Support in onboarding and continually enabling system users
  • Coordinate the relationship between the business and JHG IT teams.
  • Working closely with Asset Engineering Manager, CYP + Systems & Technology Manager – CYP AMS to understand the scope of business requirements.
  • Participate in system evaluation and selection in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance for CYP AMS through reporting on, and governance of, requirements relating to the VPDSS, Cyber Security Act 2024, NIST SP 800-53r5 and IEC 62443
  • Facilitate Risk Assessments that relate to IT deployment and Cybersecurity for CYP AMS

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computing related field or equivalent
  • Experience administering and supporting CMMS and/or enterprise maintenance systems
  • Experience in requirements gathering, system configuration, and technology change management
  • Working knowledge of information management, data governance, and cybersecurity regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with technology platforms such as Building Management Systems, CMMS, BIM, GIS, CAD, Power BI and SCADA
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
