- End-to-end payroll preparation and reconciliation
- Reviewing wages and allowances, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy
- Month-end payroll reporting
- Performing calculations for prepayments, wages, annual leave, terminations, and allowances
- Processing and remitting statutory payments
- Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries and issue resolution
- Maintaining payroll systems (ADP) and employee records
- Data entry of timesheets and processing leave applications
- Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts
- Assisting with payroll-related statutory obligations including payroll tax, superannuation, work cover, and garnishees
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc payroll duties
Profile
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll within a complex or multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP experience highly regarded)
- Ability to interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
