  • End-to-end payroll preparation and reconciliation
  • Reviewing wages and allowances, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Month-end payroll reporting
  • Performing calculations for prepayments, wages, annual leave, terminations, and allowances
  • Processing and remitting statutory payments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries and issue resolution
  • Maintaining payroll systems (ADP) and employee records
  • Data entry of timesheets and processing leave applications
  • Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts
  • Assisting with payroll-related statutory obligations including payroll tax, superannuation, work cover, and garnishees
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc payroll duties

Profile

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll within a complex or multi-site environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP experience highly regarded)
  • Ability to interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
