This is a senior HR leadership role in a high profile ASX Listed company that genuinely invests in its people.
Reporting to the Head of HR you will be responsible for the full management of the HR strategy across a national workforce of ~2000 employees. This will see you lead a high performing, collaborative team to deliver across the full employee cycle including case management and investigations. It is a generalist role which requires strong ER/IR knowledge as well as team leadership and operational stakeholder partnering. It will also see you deliver HR initiatives promoting a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior operational leaders building credibility and trust in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Lead complex workplace investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary matters, grievance resolution and case management
- Lead the upcoming Enterprise Agreement negotiation, and manage all Fair Work matters and union interactions.
- Oversee psychosocial risk management across the workforce in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
- Drive cyclical HR processes including remuneration reviews, performance management and succession planning.
- Develop and upskill the HR team, fostering ownership and professional growth.
- Champion safe and respectful workplace programs aligned with organisational values.
- Implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with the growth agenda.
Essential Criteria
- Mining or heavy industry experience is required for success in this role.
- Manager or Head of level experience demonstrating leadership of a high-performing team and giving people real ownership.
- Extensive ER/IR knowledge with demonstrated complex case management and investigations.
- Broad generalist HR capability across performance management, case management, psychosocial risk, Fair Work and remuneration.
- Proven ability to coach and influence operational leaders, managing behaviours typical of a mining workforce.
Highly Regarded
- Experience managing psychosocial risk at scale, including legislative compliance and practical program delivery.
- Exposure to a growth-oriented, high-pace business environment.
This role offers an attractive salary package of circa $235,000-$245,000 plus superannuation and bonus as well as a hybrid working arrangement, with work from home 1-2 days pw available.
