About The Role

We’re seeking a highly organised and stakeholder-focused

Program Officer to support the delivery of the Clinical Placement Program and other key initiatives. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll coordinate placements, engage with a broad network of stakeholders, and ensure high-quality program administration and participant experience.

You’ll play a critical role in supporting nursing workforce development by helping deliver meaningful placement experiences for students and host organisations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate program delivery end-to-end, including reviewing placement requests, matching students with host sites, scheduling activities, and managing confirmations and logistics
  • Provide high-quality administrative and recruitment support, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for program participants
  • Act as a key point of contact, responding to stakeholder enquiries, coordinating follow-ups, and resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with education providers, host sites, supervisors, and internal teams to support effective program delivery
  • Maintain and manage accurate data across CRM and placement systems, ensuring integrity, compliance, and an account management approach
  • Monitor program performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and contribute to reporting and evaluation, using accurate data and insights
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all participants and partners
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively, applying sound judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong written communication skills – clear, concise, and accurate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems (experience with CRM platforms highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience in administration, coordination, or program support roles
  • Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and customer service, managing enquiries and expectations effectively
